Ben McLellan

Ben McLellan is a distinguished academic currently serving as a Professor at Kyoto University since 2021 and as an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Queensland since 2013. Ben has a strong editorial presence as Co-chief Editor of the International Journal of Sustainable Futures and as a board member of the Japan Society for Energy and Resources. McLellan previously held the position of Associate Professor at Kyoto University's Graduate School of Energy Science from 2010 to 2021, focusing on energy and sustainability. His experience includes a role as a Visiting Associate Professor at the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature and a Research Fellow at the University of Queensland, contributing to sustainable design in industrial processes. McLellan holds a PhD and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language, all from The University of Queensland.
