Dr Heather Sequeira

Dr. Heather Sequeira is a Chartered Consultant Psychologist and recognized expert in trauma and OCD, currently serving as a consultant psychologist at PTSDTraumaWorkshops.co.uk and an honorary senior research fellow at the University of Birmingham. With over two decades of experience, Dr. Sequeira specializes in PTSD, trauma-informed approaches, and the intersection of OCD and trauma, providing advanced training for mental health professionals. In addition to leading a specialist NHS service for complex OCD, Dr. Sequeira contributes to various academic institutions as a visiting lecturer and has held significant research and editorial roles within the field of psychology, including serving as the editor of the Counselling Psychology Review. Dr. Sequeira holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of London and a BSc from the University of Birmingham.
