Ke Ning is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Translational Neuroscience at the University of Sheffield, specializing in gene and cell therapy for motor neurone disease and other neurodegenerative disorders. Previously, Ning served as a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the same field, focusing on gene therapy for motor neuron disease. Prior academic positions include Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Dundee, investigating leptin and PTEN signaling in hypothalamic obesity, and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Toronto, studying circadian regulation of GABAA receptor function. Earlier experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Associate role at the University of Notre Dame, where research centered on protein aggregation in Huntington Disease.
