Mark Sullivan

Mark Sullivan is a Scientific Researcher at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology, specializing in micro/bio/nanofluidics with a focus on the design and synthesis of new recognition materials for biosensors. Currently serving as a Visiting Research Fellow at The University of Sheffield and holding a position as a Team Rider and Product Tester at Apex Boards, Sullivan has extensive experience as a Senior Research Associate and Associate Researcher at De Montfort University. Previous roles include teaching Science and Chemistry at multiple educational institutions and working as an Analytic Chemist in both Australia and the UK. Mark Sullivan holds a PhD in Materials Chemistry, an MS in Organic Chemistry, and a PGCE in Secondary Education, complementing a foundational Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry.
