Samantha Caton is a senior lecturer in Public Health at The University of Sheffield since December 2019, after serving as a lecturer in the same field at the University of Sheffield from October 2013 to March 2022. Prior experience includes a lecturer position in Psychology at the University of Bradford from January 2013 to October 2013, and a postdoctoral research fellow role at the Institute of Psychological Sciences from May 2009 to January 2013. Samantha held honorary postdoctoral fellow status at the Neuroendocrine Unit from August 2007 to May 2009, and served as a research fellow in the Neuroendocrine Research Group at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from August 2005 to August 2007, while also working as a visiting scientist at the Max Planck Institute from June 2006 to June 2007. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biotechnology & Biological Sciences from the University of Liverpool, a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Leeds, and a Masters of Medical Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Sheffield.
