Lori Mann Bruce

Lori Mann Bruce is the Chancellor at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, a position held since June 2025. Prior to this role, Lori served as Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Tennessee Technological University from April 2018 to July 2025. Lori's extensive academic career includes significant positions at Mississippi State University from August 2000 to April 2018, including Giles Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Associate Vice President and Dean of the Graduate School, and Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies. Additionally, Lori worked as an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from August 1996 to August 2000. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Doctor of Philosophy and Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering, respectively, from The University of Alabama in Huntsville.
