Arijit Chakravarty, MD, is a highly experienced transplant nephrologist currently serving as Assistant Professor and Medical Director of Pancreas Transplant at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center and Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare since October 2017. Prior to these roles, Arijit Chakravarty held positions as a transplant nephrologist at Lourdes Organ Transplant Center from July 2007 to October 2017 and served as the Medical Director of the Kidney & Pancreas Transplant Program. Arijit Chakravarty completed a transplant nephrology fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and has extensive training in nephrology from an ACGME-accredited fellowship at NorthShore Long Island Jewish. Medical education includes an MD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Biology from Stevens Institute of Technology.
