Bronson Messer currently serves as the Director of Science at the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility, a position held since 2005, and is also recognized as a Distinguished R&D Staff member. In addition, Bronson holds a role as Joint Faculty Professor in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Tennessee since May 2023. Previous experience includes serving as a Research Associate at the University of Chicago and with the Terascale Supernova Initiative at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Bronson's academic credentials include a PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
