Amy Zhang

Amy Zhang is a dedicated academic and professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin since August 2017, Amy has also been a Freelance Graphic Designer for TexARTS since June 2015. Previous experience includes research and planning internships, administrative support, and editorial leadership at notable organizations such as the Center for Public Policy Priorities, Texas Student Media, and The Daily Texan. Additionally, Amy has contributed as a Journalism Judge for the University Interscholastic League and held various positions in research and creative roles. Academically, Amy Zhang holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Plan II Honors and Sociology, a Graduate Certificate in Public Health, and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology, with an expected graduation in 2024 from The University of Texas at Austin.
