Luke Williams is currently an Assistant Professor at The University of Texas at Austin, having previously served as a Curatorial Fellow at the Museum of the African Diaspora. With extensive experience as a Freelance Writer for SF/Arts Monthly and completing a PhD at Stanford University, Luke has engaged in academic and curatorial practices. Notable early roles include a Senior Resident Assistant and various fellowships at the University of Virginia, where responsibilities encompassed student support and research on the Civil Rights Movement. Additional experience includes teaching history at St. Mark's School of Texas and internships at KPCC and Andrews Kurth. Luke holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political and Social Thought with a minor in History and African-American/Black Studies from the University of Virginia.
