Melissa Drexler

Melissa Drexler currently serves as the Leadership and Organizational Development Training Coordinator, Facilitator, and Instructor at The University of Texas at Austin's LBJ School of Public Affairs, a position held since September 2022. Prior to this role, Melissa taught German at the Austin Independent School District from September 2021 to September 2022 and worked as a Math & Science Teacher and Grade Level Leader at Pflugerville ISD from August 2014 to August 2021. Additional experience includes teaching positions at Cedars International Academy and as an Adult ESL Educator for the Austin Independent School District. Earlier in the career, roles included Translator and Editor at sipgate and Business English Language Instructor with marcus evans Group. Customer service expertise was developed as a Customer Service Supervisor and Lead Agent at American Airlines from 1993 to 1998. Melissa holds an Executive Master of Public Leadership degree from The LBJ School of Public Affairs, and a Master of Education from The University of Texas at Arlington, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Phoenix.
