Shawn Eichorst

Shawn Eichorst serves as the Deputy Athletic Director and Chief Operating Officer at The University of Texas at Austin since July 2018. Prior to this role, Shawn founded SE23 Enterprises LLC in October 2016 and served as its CEO. Shawn's extensive experience in athletics administration includes positions as Director of Athletics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from October 2012 to September 2017 and at the University of Miami from April 2011 to October 2012. Additionally, Shawn held the title of Deputy Athletic Director at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from April 2006 to April 2011 and Senior Associate Athletic Director for Administration at the University of South Carolina from January 2004 to April 2006. Earlier in the career, Shawn directed athletics at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and practiced law as a Senior Associate Attorney at Michael Best & Friedrich LLP and as an Associate Attorney at Borgelt, Powell, Peterson & Frauen, S.C. Shawn Eichorst earned a Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
