Will Whiting

Will Whiting is a seasoned development professional currently serving as the Chief Development Officer at The University of Texas at Austin since 2023. Prior to this role, Will held various positions in development, including Associate Vice Chancellor for Development at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences from 2021 to 2023, and Executive Director of Principal Gifts at The University of Texas at Austin from 2017 to 2021. Additional experience includes Senior Director of Development and Director of Regional Development at the University of Tennessee Foundation (2013 - 2017), Assistant Director of University Development at the University of Arkansas (2012 - 2013), Vice President of Advocacy/Public Affairs at the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce (2010 - 2012), Assistant Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at the University of Arkansas (2008 - 2010), and Special Assistant at the William J. Will holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Journalism from the University of Arkansas and a Master's degree in Organizational and Crisis Communications from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
