Kristin Kuhlman Atchison

Kristin Kuhlman Atchison serves as an Associate Professor of Instruction at The University of Texas at Dallas since August 2020, teaching courses including Introduction to Psychology, Lifespan Development, and Statistics for Psychology. Atchison has held various academic roles throughout a diverse career, including positions as Assistant Professor and Lecturer at the same institution, as well as part-time instructor and visiting lecturer at Georgia State University and other colleges. Prior teaching experiences include roles at Nevada State College, University of North Georgia, and California State University, East Bay, with a focus on developmental psychology and research methods. Atchison's early career involved research assistance and community support for adults with severe mental illness, alongside contributions to the Infant Cognition Lab during undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University. Atchison holds a Ph.D. in Psychological Sciences from The University of Texas at Dallas and a B.S. in Psychology from Texas A&M University.
