Women’s Ministry Residency Details

Position Summary

The Women’s Ministry Resident will be responsible for assisting in the planning, leadership, and execution of the Women’s Ministry at TVC. The role will focus on helping to create and execute both forming and catalytic events/ministry to invite women deeper into life with God at TVC.

Job Responsibilities

• Help organize, plan, and execute ministry under the direction of the Women’s Director, including retreats, forums, Women’s Bible Study, events for senior adults, and events for single adults
• Provide support for other formational/equipping classes
• Work with the Adults Ministry team to help bring cohesion to the discipleship pathway
• General ministry responsibilities as needed (hospital visits, weddings, funerals, etc.)
• Active involvement in the life of TVC, including staff meetings and events

Qualifications and Requirements

• Agree with The Village Church’s Expectations of Membership and Statement of Faith and commit to exhibiting a lifestyle that is consistent with the same.
• Model the biblical character of a minister/deacon (1 Tim. 3)
• High school diploma required
• Experience in ministerial care, counsel, and/or direction
• Working knowledge of biblical theology
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Administrative and organizational skills
• Ability to work within the context of a team
• Flexible and adaptable
