Leon Smulakowski

Leon Smulakowski, LNHA, RD, RAC-CT, serves as Regional Administrator for The W Group since December 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Administrator and Assistant Administrator at Riverdale Nursing Home from April 2015 to December 2019, and Clinical Nutrition Manager at the same facility. At Schervier Nursing Care Center, Leon worked as a Clinical Dietitian from May 2012 to April 2015. Initial experience includes dietetic internships at Irving Place Dialysis and Coler-Goldwater Specialty Hospital & Nursing Facility in 2012, as well as a dietetic internship at Rouge Tomate. Prior to a career in healthcare, Leon held positions as Vice Consul at the Consulate General of Israel from 2004 to 2012 and as a Security Officer with the Israel MOD from 2004 to 2009. Leon earned a degree from Hunter College between 2008 and 2011.
