Katherine Lewandowski is a seasoned educational professional with extensive experience in program development and management. Currently serving as a Senior Program Officer at the Wallace Foundation since August 2012, Katherine co-led a significant $90 million initiative focused on social emotional learning in schools and out-of-school programs. Katherine’s previous roles include Senior Program and Research Analyst, Program Officer for Learning and Enrichment, and involvement with organizations such as Launch Expeditionary Learning Charter School as a board member, Clarkson University as Assistant Director for Corporate and Foundation Relations, and St. Lawrence Land Trust as Project Manager. Katherine’s educational background includes a Master's degree (ABD) in Youth Development and Sociology of Higher Education from the University of Chicago and a BA in English from Sarah Lawrence College.
