Walt Smith

Walt Smith has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Walt began their career in 1970 at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), where they held various roles including District Director and National Emergency Manager. During their time at the FAA, they implemented important programs and served as a national instructor. In 1977, they became a retired HQ District Manager for the FAA. In 1980, they joined FAAMA as a Senior Instructor. In 2007, Smith joined the Washington Consulting Group, where they held the positions of Director for International and Domestic U.S. Aviation Programs, as well as Director.
