Nastaran Tebyanian is a Research Scientist at The Water Institute since September 2022, following a diverse academic and professional background. Previous roles include Fellow at LandscapeU, Researcher for the Penn State Initiative for Resilient Communities, and Research Associate at the Hamer Center for Community Design at Penn State University from August 2013 to September 2022. Nastaran also served as an Adjunct Researcher and Summer Associate at RAND Corporation between May 2021 and March 2022, and taught courses in architectural design and environmental communication as a Lecturer at Azad University- Mahdishahr Branch in 2012. Professional experience includes urban design for Semnan Municipality from July 2009 to July 2011. Nastaran's educational qualifications feature a PhD in Architecture, a Master of Applied Science in Statistics, and a Master of Science in Landscape Architecture, all obtained from Penn State University.
