Elliot Dane has extensive work experience in the field of video editing and production. Elliot began their career as an Advanced Editor at CNN Sports Illustrated, where they edited and produced feature packages on a daily basis. Elliot also specialized in show prep, selecting video and music, and creating effects and graphics. Elliot then moved on to CNN Sports, where they worked as an Advanced Editor/Producer, editing and producing news packages for CNN, CNN.com, and World Sport on CNN International. Elliot also line produced Bleacher Report cut-ins for HLN Morning Express and World Sport shows. In 2015, Elliot joined Turner Sports as a Multimedia/Video Producer, where they played a key role in organizing and producing video content for NCAA.com. Elliot worked with a team of full-timers and freelancers to deliver preview features, championship coverage features, and nightly recaps for March Madness, generating millions of views across multiple platforms. Currently, Elliot works as a Freelance Video Editor at The Weather Channel.

Elliot Dane pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from UC San Diego, undertaking their studies from 1988 to 1993.
