Eric Lock

Eric Lock started their career in 2004 as a Video Editor at Newport Television, where they edited video using various editing software. Eric was also chosen to edit the station's annual hurricane special. In 2007, they became a Producer, writing stories, headlines, and teases for daily newscasts. Eric worked at Newport Television until 2009, when they joined Newport Television as a Sports Photographer, producing the Jacksonville Jaguars pregame show. From 2012 to 2015, Eric worked as a Multimedia Producer at First Coast News, where they produced local daily newscasts and created graphics using Axis graphics. Since 2015, Eric has been working at The Weather Channel, initially as an Associate Producer and then as a Social Media Producer. Their responsibilities include building segments, writing scripts, editing video, and formatting archived footage for air.

Eric Lock attended the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in 2004 where they focused on Broadcast Journalism.
