Jennifer Sanders

Jennifer Sanders has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Jennifer began their career in 2005 as the Chief Division Counsel at BEA Systems, Inc., where they managed legal support for a division of the company and provided guidance to executive-level management. Jennifer then joined Oracle in 2008 as a Legal Director before moving on to serve on the Board of Directors for the Association of Corporate Counsel's San Francisco Bay Area Chapter from 2008 to 2012.

In 2009, Jennifer became a Senior Counsel for Business & Legal Affairs at Viacom, where they focused on digital law and negotiated complex gaming and licensing agreements for Nickelodeon's online properties. Jennifer also handled privacy compliance and negotiated third-party agreements for data usage and advertising on Viacom's platforms.

After their time at Viacom, Jennifer worked as an outside counsel for mid and small-sized technology companies from 2013 to 2016. Jennifer'sresponsibilities included providing legal and business expertise for complex technology transactions, privacy and data protection, and developing tools and processes to enable business growth.

At Accenture, Jennifer served as a Senior Product Attorney from 2016 to 2019, supporting product engineering and business teams for Accenture's products, platforms, emerging technology, and strategic initiatives. Jennifer managed and trained internal legal teams, provided deal escalation support, and focused on regulatory compliance, privacy, licensing models, and IP protection.

Jennifer then became the General Counsel at Oh My Green in 2019, where they worked with the executive team and board of directors to support company growth. Jennifer'sresponsibilities included managing corporate legal affairs, partnerships, regulatory compliance, and deal support for intellectual property transactions.

Most recently, Jennifer has been working as a Senior Privacy Counsel for The Weather Channel since 2023, through an engagement with Axiom. Overall, Jennifer's work experience showcases their expertise in various legal areas such as privacy, technology transactions, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.

Jennifer Sanders obtained their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1985 to 1988. Jennifer further pursued law education and completed their J.D. degree at the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law from 1992 to 1994.
