Brian Kays

Brian Kays is an experienced educator and leader in the field of science teaching, currently serving as a Science Teacher at The Webb Schools since July 2020. Kays has made significant contributions to physics education through roles such as UTOP CO-Program Designer and STEP UP Ambassador Lead with the American Association of Physics Teachers, focusing on inclusivity and support for underrepresented groups in physics. Previous positions include Master Teach Policy Fellow at AAPT/AIP, Director of Innovation and Technology Integration at Ramona Convent Secondary School, and various teaching and coaching roles at St. Lucy's Priory High School, Mount Saint Mary's College, and San Dimas High School. Kays holds a Master’s in Education from Mount Saint Mary's University and a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from San Diego State University.
