Elizabeth Canon Carrillo is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in employee and internal communications spanning over two decades. Currently serving as an Employee Communications Business Partner and former Employee Communications Manager at The Weir Group PLC since March 2020, Elizabeth has previously held roles including Internal Communications Manager at Heriot-Watt University and Internal Communications & Engagement Manager at RBS. Elizabeth's expertise encompasses the planning, development, and execution of communication strategies to enhance employee and student engagement, manage brand messaging, and support organizational change initiatives. An MBA graduate from The University of Edinburgh, Elizabeth also holds a degree in Communication Studies from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
