Shawn Schmidt

Shawn Schmidt is a Cloud Operations Analyst at The Weir Group PLC, responsible for assisting with the North American build, definition, and delivery of Hybrid Cloud Services. Since June 2015, Shawn has contributed to various phases of establishing Microsoft private cloud sites in Dallas, Chicago, Singapore, and Malaysia, facilitating the migration of 52 operating companies into a shared services model. Prior to this role, Shawn worked as a Network / Systems Administrator at Harvest Land Cooperative and AgQuest Financial, managing a virtualized Microsoft Windows network and supporting over 160 users. Additionally, Shawn has experience as an Assistant Network Administrator and in computer operations at DRIASI. Shawn's education includes studies in Retail Sales Management at Brainerd Technical College and earlier coursework at Alexandria Technical College and Cedar Mountain High School.
