Deputy Communications Director — Office Of Management & Budget at The White House

Christina Wilkes has a diverse work experience in various roles in communications and press. Christina started as a Communications Intern at the Obama White House in 2016 and later interned at NBC News. Christina then served as a Senior Press Assistant in the Office of Speaker Nancy Pelosi from 2017 to 2019. Following that, they worked as a Press Secretary for Beto for America in 2019 and as a Researcher at Silver Street Strategies. In 2020, they worked as a Traveling Press Secretary for The Hub Project and later as a Communications Advisor & Spokesperson for the Montana Democratic Party. Christina then joined the GSA as a Press Secretary before moving to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in the same role. Currently, they serve as the Deputy Communications Director in the Office of Management & Budget at The White House.

Christina Wilkes has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Communication, earned from the University of Southern California. Christina also studied International Journalism and Media at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
