Teika Carlson

Teika Carlson is an experienced professional currently serving as the Deputy Director for Climate & Science Agency Personnel at The White House since May 2024. Prior to this role, Teika held multiple positions at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, including Senior Advisor for External Affairs and Special Assistant to the Director. Teika’s background includes roles in political organizing during the Biden for President campaign as Regional Organizing Director, as well as experience in recruitment and coordination at True Search and Isaacson, Miller. Teika's early career featured teaching English in Brazil as part of the Fulbright Program and a commitment to education and community development at Bates College and through various internships. Teika holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Bates College.
