Cara Khan

Cara Khan has extensive experience in the arts and creative industry. Cara has been the Owner of Khan Artist Studios since 2003, where they have gained over 15 years of experience in various artistic techniques such as mural painting, tattoo design, illustration, and painting with watercolor and oil. Cara has also worked as an Art Director at Supersocial, Inc. from 2020 to 2022, overseeing creative projects. Prior to that, they were a Senior Look Development Artist and Texture Artist at Magic Leap from 2015 to 2020, where they worked on developing experiences for spatial computing and led artistic concept direction for art installations. Before that, they worked as a Texturing/Surfacing Artist at PDI/Dreamworks from 2008 to 2014, contributing their expertise in 3D texturing and surfacing to projects like Merry Madagascar, Megamind, Madagascar 3, How to Train Your Dragon 2, and B.O.O. Overall, Cara Khan possesses a diverse range of artistic skills and has a significant background in both artistic creation and managerial roles.

Cara Khan pursued their education at Ringling College of Art and Design from 2004 to 2008. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a specialization in Computer Animation.
