Jose Witt

Jose Witt currently serves as the Mojave Desert Landscape Director at The Wilderness Society, a position held since November 2022. Prior to this role, Jose served as the Executive Director at Southern Nevada Conservancy from October 2019 to November 2022 and held the position of Southern Nevada Director at Friends of Nevada Wilderness from February 2011 to October 2019. Earlier in their career, Jose worked at Wells Fargo for over a decade as a Branch Manager. Jose holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and has pursued education at the University of Montana and the University of Phoenix.
