The Wilderness Society
Kitty Craig serves as the Urban to Wild National Director at The Wilderness Society since 2010, where responsibilities include providing strategic direction and promoting equity and justice in conservation within urban communities. Previously, Craig was the Advocacy Director for Community-led Conservation and Deputy Director of the Washington Program at The Wilderness Society, focusing on strategic planning, program leadership, and advocacy efforts. Earlier experience includes serving as the Program Manager for the North Cascades Program at The Trust for Public Land, where successful conservation initiatives were achieved. Craig also holds experience as a Research Associate at Resource Innovations and as an intern with the City of SeaTac. Craig earned a BA in History from Whitman College and a Master of Arts in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Oregon.
