Izzy Polanco's work experience includes an internship at the National Urban League, where they worked on health equity and policy. They also served as a Housing Coordinator at Williams College. At The Williams Record, they held multiple roles, including Executive Editor for Sports and Staff Director, Sports Editor, and Staff Writer. Izzy worked as an Editorial Staff and Research Assistant for the "Just Futures" Project at the Mellon Foundation. They also had a legal internship at LEVINE & GROSSMAN. Additionally, Izzy worked as a Project Intern at Frenalytics, where they analyzed data and produced a report on cognitive rehabilitation. They were also a Biotechnology Summer Scholar at Stony Brook University, conducting research on Alzheimer's Disease and Type 2 Diabetes. Their earliest work experience was as a Summer Camp Counselor at Sid Jacobson JCC.

Izzy Polanco attended Mineola High School from 2016 to 2021, where they earned the degree of Summa Cum Laude. They then went on to attend Williams College from 2021 to 2025, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Political Science and Public Health.
