Natasha Amazan

Natasha Amazan is an experienced educator currently serving as an Assistant Teacher at The Windward School since September 2016, where responsibilities include partnering with a Mentor Teacher to support students with reading-based learning differences. Previously, Natasha contributed 1700 hours as an Americorps Member with City Year, providing academic support in a 4th-grade Math classroom, and served as a Corps Member with Jumpstart, where engagement with preschool children in low-income neighborhoods was prioritized. Natasha's earlier professional experience includes a role as Assistant Manager at Starbucks, where leadership and customer service skills were demonstrated, and an internship at the White Plains Community Action Program focused on community outreach efforts. Natasha holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from St. John's University, obtained in 2015, and a Regent Plus Diploma from New Rochelle High School, received in 2010.
