Mike Prodoehl has a diverse work experience in the wine industry. Mike is currently working at The Wine Group since 2016, where they have held various roles such as Director, Corporate Brands, Director, Trade Development, and Regional Account Manager, Trade Development. Prior to that, they worked at Vintage Point, LLC as the Mid-Atlantic Region Manager from 2013 to 2016. Before that, they were the Sales Manager - Premier Wine Division at Reliable Churchill from 2010 to 2013. Mike also worked at Reliable-Churchill Distributors (E&J Gallo Winery) as a Field Sales Manager and Sales Representative from 2006 to 2010. Mike'searliest experience is as a Manager at Uno Chicago Grill from 2005 to 2006.

Mike Prodoehl completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems at Salisbury University's Perdue School of Business from 1999 to 2003. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) qualification from the Society of Wine Educators in August 2009. Mike also holds the WSET Level 2 and Level 3 certifications from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, which were obtained in January 2021 and April 2022, respectively. Furthermore, they completed a Certificate in Wine Business Management from the School of Business and Economics at Sonoma State University in May 2022. Most recently, they became a Certified Educator from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in March 2023.
