Sohail Shah is the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Surgery at The Woman's Hospital of Texas, and the Medical Director at Pediatrix Medical Group. Previously, Shah held various roles at Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children's Hospital, and Children's Mercy Hospital Kansas City. Shah has extensive experience in pediatric surgery, trauma care, perioperative services, and telemedicine outreach. Sohail has pursued their education in biology, health care administration, and medicine.

Our 420+ bed hospital was founded in 1976 by 29 physicians who recognized a need in Houston for a facility focused solely on women in all stages of life.
