Jane Qualls Mathis

Crisis Interventionist at The Women's Center of Tarrant County

Jane Qualls Mathis is an experienced professional in social work and program management, currently serving as Program Director and Program Facilitator at Girls Inc. of Tarrant County since September 2016, where the focus is on empowering girls aged 6-18 through mentoring programs. Mathis also works as a Crisis Interventionist at The Women's Center of Tarrant County, providing support to survivors of sexual assault and abuse since January 2015. With prior experience as a social work intern at JPS Health Network and Millwood Hospital, Mathis has contributed to clinical care and research aimed at improving health outcomes for low-income patients and adolescents in psychiatric settings. Additional leadership and volunteer experience include organizing support for homeless families at Family Promise, facilitating end-of-life discussions with HospiceMidland, and community engagement in various educational roles. Mathis holds a Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Tech University.
