Hassan Souto

Hassan Souto has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Hassan currently holds the position of Director of Community Services at New Bedford Women's Center, Inc., where they previously served as the Manager of Education & Outreach Department and the Coordinator of Education and Outreach. Hassan also worked as a Domestic Violence Counselor at the same organization. Hassan is a Board Member at SOUTH COAST LGBTQ NETWORK INC, contributing to their mission of creating a thriving LGBTQ+ community. Hassan has been involved in the fight against human and labor trafficking as part of the Human & Labor Trafficking Taskforce at New Bedford Police Dept. In the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, they served as an Agent from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, Hassan acted as an Assistant Residential Director at the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services. Hassan also held the role of Assistant Director of Residential Services at BAMSI and was recognized as one of the top selling realtors in Staten Island during their time as a Licensed Realtor at Foxtons. Finally, they worked as a Mental Health Specialist at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Hassan Souto holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. In 2008, they obtained a New York Real Estate License from the Ivy Real Education Center. In 2014, they became a BLS CPR Instructor through the American Red Cross. Additionally, in April 2015, they obtained a Licensed Social Worker certification from the ASWB - Association of Social Work Boards.
