Jackie Smith

Jackie Smith has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Jackie most recently worked as the Director of Community Engagement & Grants Management at The Women's Center starting in August 2022. From October 2020 to July 2022, they were the Executive Director of the Housing Action Coalition of Waukesha County Inc., where they also served as the Program Director from May 2019 to October 2020. Jackie collaborated with various community partners to address homelessness and housing instabilities in Waukesha County.

Prior to their role at the Housing Action Coalition, Jackie worked at Hebron House of Hospitality, Inc. In this organization, they held multiple positions including Associate Director from October 2018 to May 2019, Director of Program Compliance from October 2017 to October 2018, House Manager from November 2015 to October 2017, Program Coordinator from January 2015 to November 2015, and Shelter Advocate from August 2014 to January 2015.

Jackie also gained experience as a Youth Care Counselor at Lad Lake in February 2015, as well as a Certified Medical Assistant at Froedtert Health from April 2013 to September 2014, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin from July 2009 to April 2013, and Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare from December 2006 to July 2009.

Jackie Smith completed their education history with a variety of degrees and certifications. Jackie began by earning a Technical Diploma in Allied Health and Medical Assistant from Milwaukee Area Technical College from 2005 to 2006. Later, from 2013 to 2015, they pursued an Associate of Science in Human Services, General from Waukesha County Technical College. In 2015, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ottawa University. Jackie'seducation culminated with a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership in Strategic Innovation from Ottawa University, which they pursued from 2018 to 2020.
