Jenna Hirji

Vice President Of Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion at The Women's Network

Jenna Hirji has a range of work experience in various roles and industries. Jenna is currently serving as the Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at The Women's Network, where they foster relationships with other campus organizations and ensures a safe space for people of all backgrounds. Prior to this, they were a Formal Co-Chair for The McMaster Social Sciences Society. Jenna also worked as a Sales Advisor at H&M, providing customer assistance, merchandising, and store management. Jenna has experience in international development as an International Development Virtual Intern at Think Pacific, where they conducted research on women's sexual health and COVID-19 in Fiji. Jenna has also served as the Executive of International Affairs at Initiative for Change, addressing global issues and raising awareness. In addition, Jenna has worked as a Camp Counselor with the City of Markham, primarily working with preschool-age children and developing strong connections with their campers.

Jenna Hirji's educational journey began in 2015 at Thornlea Secondary School, where they obtained their Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Upon completion, they pursued further education at McMaster University from 2019 to 2023. Jenna pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a specialization in Political Science, focusing on Global Citizenship. Additionally, they completed a minor in Global Peace and Social Justice during their time at McMaster University.
