Catherine Newton

Catherine Newton is an experienced professional with a diverse background in management, event coordination, and design. Currently serving as a Manager, Certified Trainer, Shift Supervisor, and Barista at Woods Coffee since April 2021, Catherine has developed strong leadership skills. Prior roles include Residence Education Program Coordinator and Social Media Lead at the University of Washington, where Catherine planned events focused on academics and wellness, and created marketing materials utilizing Canva. Catherine also contributed as a UX Designer for HuskyADAPT, emphasizing accessible solutions for individuals with cognitive disabilities. Other experiences include customer service at The French Bakery, graphic design for the American Cancer Society, marketing internship at Microsoft Alumni Network, and various roles at the University of Portland. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Psychology from the University of Washington and a high school diploma from the International School.
