Peter Illes

Peter Illes is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and management. Currently serving as Head of Engineering at The Workshop since January 2023, Peter oversees a Software Engineering organization delivering online gaming solutions across multiple countries. Prior to this role, Peter held significant positions such as Senior Engineering Manager and Head of Department at evosoft, where leadership included managing a large team focused on clinical solutions. Peter also served as Senior DevOps Manager at Itron, Inc., and led engineering teams in various organizations including Meltwater, Morgan Stanley, and SAP Labs, where responsibilities ranged from project management to team development and strategic initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technical University of Budapest and certifications in Organizational Development Consulting and Training.
