Charlie Hemak

Patient & Community Engagement Board Member at The Wright Center for Community Health

Charlie Hemak serves as a member of The Wright Center for Patient and Community Engagement. He is the father-in-law of Dr. Linda Thomas-Hemak, CEO of The Wright Center for Community Health and President of The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the University of Scranton, and served for four years in the U.S. Navy in Naval Aviation as a member of the fighter squad, overseeing fire control radar on aircraft carriers. He then began his career at IBM in Fishkill, New York, and worked at RCA/Thomson Consumer Electronics for over 30 years as a quality engineer and project manager.
