Amy Smith

Amy Smith is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in support roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Local Nature Recovery Officer at Dorset Council UK, Amy is involved in developing Dorset's Local Nature Recovery Strategy, collaborating with multiple stakeholders. Previously, Amy worked as a Sessional Support Worker at The YOU Trust, assisting young people in supported housing to build independence skills. As Project Support Officer for Low Carbon Dorset, Amy facilitated the delivery of initiatives aimed at reducing carbon footprints among local organizations. Additionally, Amy has held roles supporting young people and individuals in crisis, volunteering in various capacities, and engaging in community service, including peer support for those affected by dementia and drug and alcohol issues. Amy holds a Master of Science in Public Policy from the University of Bristol and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Cardiff University.
