Katya Simpson

Katya Simpson has a diverse background in data science and analytics. Katya currently works as a Data Scientist at Alethea, starting in April 2023. Prior to this, they held a similar role at Twitter from April 2022 to February 2023.

Before focusing on data science, Katya gained experience as a Senior Analyst at Netflix from July 2018 to August 2020. Katya also worked at Twitter as an Analytics Engineer from October 2016 to July 2018, and as an Engineering Intern from May 2016 to October 2016.

Katya Simpson received their Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, which they attended from 2012 to 2016. During their time at Berkeley, they also pursued a Minor in Philosophy. In 2018, they obtained a certification in Yoga Teacher Training from CorePower Yoga.

Afterward, in 2020, Katya pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Science - MS degree in Computational Linguistics from the University of Washington, completing their studies in 2021.
