Michael Karlov

Michael Karlov is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in investment, corporate development, and technology. Currently serving as Principal at Aurora Borealis Group since February 2022, Michael explores investment opportunities and landmark deals. Previously, as Director of Corporate Development at Sberbank, Michael identified and executed over 100 growth initiatives through various strategic collaborations. Michael co-founded and served as CEO of Resonance Software, Inc., where two method patents and institutional financing were secured. In addition, Michael held the role of Managing Director for The Art of Shaving's Russian and CIS market and gained earlier experience as an Associate at Aurora Borealis Group and as a Policy Advice Analyst for the Council of Europe. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Miami and is a 2018 graduate of the Berkeley Skydeck Accelerator Program.
