Jessica Mrovka

Jessica Mrovka is a lighting supervisor and designer who has worked in the theater industry for over 10 years. Jessica began their career as a freelance theater electrician, working for various companies in the Saint Louis area. In 2013, they were hired as a lighting supervisor at the Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek, Colorado. Jessica oversaw the lighting design and operation for all of the center's events. After two years at the Vilar Performing Arts Center, Jessica moved to Minneapolis to work as a technical services manager for VStar Entertainment Group. In this role, Jessica was responsible for managing the technical services department and overseeing all aspects of event production. After four years with VStar Entertainment Group, Jessica left to join Mlazgar Associates as a controls service coordinator. In this role, Jessica is responsible for coordinating service and maintenance for all of the company's control systems.

Jessica Mrovka has a B.A. in Technical Theater from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, and they have two certifications: one from Coursera in Pro Tools Basics, and one from Audinate in Dante Certification Level 3.

They are on a team with Nicholas Tranby - Sound Supervisor, Abbee Warmboe - Properties Supervisor, and Gillian Constable - Box Office Manager. Their manager is Allen Weeks, Director of Production & Operations.
