Clive also held various leadership roles at Jetstar Airways, including Head of Alliances and South East Asia Sales, where they played a vital role in reshaping the business during the pandemic. Clive's earlier experience includes roles at Scandinavian Airlines as the Head of Business Intelligence & Development and Director of Business Development. Clive started their career as a Management Trainee at SAS Group and held a position as a Revenue Manager at Widerøe. Clive's work experience reflects their expertise in customer service, revenue management, alliances, and business development.

Clive Ashmore Butler completed their Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Economics & Politics from Trinity College Dublin, from 1996 to 2000. Clive further pursued their education and attained a Master of Science degree in Business & Economic from the Stockholm School of Economics, from 2002 to 2004.
