Valerie Planche

Valerie Planche is an accomplished director, actor, and instructor with extensive experience in the theatre industry. Current roles include being a sessional instructor at the University of Calgary and directing a production of Lynne Nottage's "SWEAT" for the Arts Club Theatre Company and Citadel Theatre. Valerie has a diverse background, having acted in productions like "Liberation Days" at Theatre Calgary and collaborated on adaptations such as "Winners and Losers" with Chromatic Theatre. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Theatre Practice from the University of Alberta and an MFA in Theatre Practice, among other credentials from prestigious institutions. Valerie has been active in the field since 1987, holding various positions in directing, acting, and instruction across multiple theatre organizations.
