Heather Keister

Heather Keister has a diverse work experience in the visual effects and broadcasting industry. Heather is currently employed as a Senior Lead Compositor at The Mill since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Method Studios for seven years, starting as a Flame Assistant in February 2011 and progressing to become a Flame Artist. Their responsibilities included assisting the Senior Flame Artist with various tasks such as Roto, Graphics, conforms, comp work, organization, and postings. Heather also had the responsibility of interacting with clients, producers, and other staff to ensure accurate information for the Flame Artist. Additionally, they mastered spots for traffic to upload. Before Method Studios, Heather worked as a Freelance Tape Operator at Turner Studios from April 2010 to February 2011. Their role involved providing assistance to editors and other creative staff in the Tape Room, utilizing their advanced knowledge of various decks and understanding signal flow and the patch bay.

Heather Keister obtained their Bachelor's degree in Radio, Television, and Digital Communication from Ferris State University. Heather attended the university from 2005 to 2008.
