Selcuk Ergen

Selcuk Ergen has extensive experience in the field of visual effects (VFX). Selcuk started their career as a VFX Assistant at Sinefekt in 2004. Selcuk then joined Framestore in 2007, where they worked as a Junior Technical Director, Effects Technical Director, Senior Effects Technical Director, and eventually became the Lead Effects Technical Director. In 2011, Selcuk gave a Houdini Master Class at Bournemouth University. In 2017, they joined MPC as an FX Supervisor and later became the Head of Effects - Advertising. Currently, Selcuk is working at The Mill as the Head of CG.

Selcuk Ergen began their education journey in 2001 at Yeditepe University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Communication Design. Selcuk dedicated himself to this program until 2006, demonstrating their commitment to developing their skills and knowledge in this field.

In 2006, Selcuk Ergen ventured to Bournemouth University to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Digital Effects. Their time at this institution lasted until 2007, during which they gained a deeper understanding of digital effects and expanded their expertise in this area.

Recently, in 2018, Selcuk Ergen attended City, University of London for a short course on Starting Up in Business. This educational experience provided him with valuable insights and knowledge on how to navigate the world of entrepreneurship and establish successful ventures.
