James Gardner

James Gardner has a diverse work experience in the field of motion design and animation. James worked as a Senior Designer at The Mill starting from June 2022. Prior to that, they were a Designer | Animator at Imaginary Forces from June 2019 to June 2022. From May 2019 to June 2022, they also worked as a Freelance Motion Designer for their own website www.j-gardner.com. James completed their BFA in Motion Design from Ringling College of Art and Design, where they studied from August 2015 to May 2019. Additionally, they gained experience as an Intern at Imaginary Forces in 2018 and worked as an Animator/Designer for the Baltimore Orioles in 2017, creating loopable sequences for screens at stadiums. James also worked as an Animator/Designer for the Sarasota Film Festival from October 2016 to December 2016.

James Gardner attended the Ringling College of Art and Design from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Motion Design. In 2018, they achieved the status of ADAA 2018 Semifinalist, a certification awarded by AdobeEDU.
